The American Chinese Martial Arts Federation is a network of schools throughout the United States and Canada dedicated to the teaching of Eight Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu and Shyun Style Tai Chi Chuan. This is a traditional Chinese martial arts system with a lineage that can be traced back hundreds of years to the Shaolin Temples of China.
The American Chinese Martial Arts Federation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created by Grandmaster James Shyun, the Fourth Generation Sole Inheritor of the Eight Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu System. The fundamental aspect of the American Chinese Martial Arts Federation is to teach and promote a healthier balanced lifestyle for the practitioners of the system through athletic training, research, publication, competition, education, and certification.
