Shifu Steven Garelik began his martial arts training in 1990 with Karate. Five years later, he moved to South Dakota and started studying Shyun Style 8 Step Preying Mantis at the Vermillion school. In 2006, he passed the ACMAF national certification test. Currently, Shifu Garelik continues to learn and teach Shyun Style 8 Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu and Shyun Style Tai Chi.
