From the graceful and flowing forms to the devastating techniques, 8-Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu had caught Sifu Nic's eye from the day he had heard of it.

After stepping into the school and experiencing the teachings of Sifu Alan Nakamoto, Sifu Eduardo Navarro, and Sifu Daniel Miller, he was addicted.

In 2007 the American Chinese Martial Arts Federation certified him as an instructor of 8-Step Preying Mantis.

Sifu Nic currently teaches kung fu and tai chi in San Francisco, and continues his own training.
