Heir Master Alan Nakamoto is the American Chinese Martial Arts Federation (ACMAF) Head of Administration.
Alan Nakamoto has had the privilege of training directly under Grandmaster James Shyun (Shyun Guong Long) since 1997. He has continually been impressed with Grandmaster Shyun’s knowledge and skill of the martial arts, including the healing arts. In 1999, he was certified by the ACMAF as an instructor or “Shifu”. He continued his training and taught in San Francisco, seeing students become Shifus. Honored to be a disciple in 2008, Shifu Nakamoto was given the disciple name Shyun Zho Long (Shyun Cosmos Dragon) by Grandmaster Shyun.
Master Nakamoto is an Heir Master with rank of 7th duan. Dedicated to the preservation of the system, he currently teaches Shyun System of Eight Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu and Shyun Style Tai Chi Chuan in San Mateo, California.
