In 2001 Daniel started his instruction in 8 Step Preying Mantis and Shyun Style Tai Chi Chuan. Over the next two years he became dedicated to becoming a Sifu just like his father Michael Cimino (his original instructor). He trained from 2001 to 2006 while attending college until he passed his Sifu certification exam in march of 2006. He graduated from college with a mechanical engineering degree, and is now working in that field. At the same time he attends training camps, and continues to train with even more enthusiasm. He operates AFC716 where he teaches 8 Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu and Shyun Style Tai Chi exclusively.
