Sifu Damian Ray began his martial arts training while in college. After having studied Shotokan Karate for three years he met Master Dean Economos, and became his student. During the course of his four year medical study in New York, Sifu Ray earned his instructor certificate. He works at The Childrens Hospital of Alabama as a surgeon correcting congenital deformities and also serves in the Army Reserves as a commander of a Forward Surgical Team. Recently Sifu Ray opened the Alabama Headquarters under the name Kung Fu Fitness and in 2010 his top two sifu trainees (Greg Calico and Clint Spain passed the national sifu certification test.
